Fully customized and community branded

BusyBloc's unique technology allows us to rapidly develop and deploy a custom native mobile app designed exclusively for your property. Residents of "Main Street Luxury Townhomes" enjoy their very own "Main Street Luxury Townhomes" app on Apple and Android devices. This app is carefully tailored to the needs and property specifics of the Main Street Luxury Townhomes. Because the design, modules, and features of each app are controlled via a cloud-based management system, changes to each app's design and functionality can be made on the fly - with no coding and no developments costs. Our unique templated mobile app system allows BusyBloc to rapidly create new custom apps with little to no upfront cost.

Streamline property management functions

At its core, BusyBloc streamlines property management functions and utilizes the unique capabilities of mobile devices. Problem reports and service requests can be instantly geo-located. Photos can be easily added to service requests and other communications. Using mobile device alerts and app badging (red circles with numbers), residents are instantly notified of updates. Residents can easily self-service their own experience including managing service requests, reserving amenities, accessing forms and documents, and more. Best of all, Property Managers using the BusyBloc system can manage all their properties from a single interface. No need to log in and out of a separate system for each managed property.

Develop new revenue streams

In addition to traditional property management functions, BusyBloc optionally allows communities to engage with local businesses while protecting resident privacy. Local businesses can apply to list their services within each property app. Once permitted, participating local businesses can also post exclusive offers. Offers act like a private coupon only available to community residents. No direct advertising, popups or other annoyances are ever allowed. Resident and user data is never shared with participating local businesses. The result is a vibrant community ecosystem of residents, property managers, service contractors, local shops and businesses. Revenue generated from participating local businesses can be used to fund property management, HOA general funds, resident events, or to pay BusyBloc subscription fees.

However, local businesses are ofter overlooked as they compete against the marketing budgets of national chains and big-box retailers. BusyBloc provides a unique platform to allow local business to market to their immediate neighbors with reasonable fees, and allows app owners, HOAs and property managers to share in that revenue. Residents enjoy browsing offers from local businesses as they wish, free from popups, banners and other direct-marketing tactics used by other sites. Choose from a growing list of modules

BusyBloc is always developing new modules and functionality.
Add, remove or configure modules on the fly without custom development.

Service Requests

Service Requests allow residents to open and track service tickets with property managers. Requests can include geo-location (maps), or selection of pre-defined common area locations and assigned categories. Property Managers can make requests public or private. Public requests can be viewed by all residents and help eliminate duplicate tickets. Requests can be forwarded on to contractors.

Amenity Reservation

Amenity Reservation allows residents to self-reserve shared community amenities. Amenities can include party rooms, spa or gym equipment, ramadas, bbqs, racquet courts, etc. Dozens of pre-defined reservation rules ensure residents can only reserve amenties in accordance to property or community rules. Amenity reservations can also optionally require authorization from the property manager.

Community Documents

Community Documents house important documents for each community. Documents can include rules, CC&R's, various forms, board reports, etc. Documents can be viewed online or on app mobile devices. Alternatively, residents can choose to send a document to their email address with the push of a button. In this way, Documents are great place to store and distribute fillable forms.

Announcements

Announcements allow Property Managers to publish community-wide messages to residents. The content of announcements can be rich text, PDFs or links to external web pages. This allows existing content to be easily re-purposed as a mobile announcement. Example announcements include newsletters, notices, etc. Managers can see the number of announcements read and assess resident engagement.

Approved Contractors

In owner-occupied communities, Approved Contractors allows contractors to list and post offers to residents. Each contractor category (roofers, plumbers, etc.) is first approved by the Property Manager (since not every contractor type may apply to every community). Once a contractor category is approved, local-market contractors in that category can apply to list their services and post offers.

Local Vendors

Local Vendors allows local businesses to list their products and services within your community app. Businesses must apply and be permitted by the Property Manager. Once permitted, local business can make exclusive offers to residents. Offers can include coupons, discounts or simple messages to encourage residents to shop local. Offers are viewed by residents as they choose. No banners or popups are allowed.

Mobile Notifications

Mobile Notifications allow Property Managers to send an instant mobile alert to connected mobile devices. Depending on the users' device and app configuration, alerts typically "ding" and display a text alert on the device. Notifications are best suited for short messages, reminders or immediate notices (-e.g. "Board Meeting Tonight"). Notifications can be sent at any time to all users or to specific residents.

Message Board

The Community Message Board is a place for residents to post and share with one another. Posts can include photos, and residents can comment and/or "like" posts and comments. The Message Board feature is designed to enhance communication between neighbors in a trusted environment. But, it can also be used by Property Managers to communcate informally with residents.

Events

Events allow communities to have a common calendar of events. Events can include meeting times and locations, parties, gatherings and other social events. Event invitations can be sent to residents who, in turn, can RSVP for tracking attendance and event planning purposes. Configuration settings can specify whether residents can plan their own events within the app. Events can also be linked to reservable amenities.

Buy Sell Trade

The Buy, Sell, Trade module is a specialized message board which allows residents to engage in transactional exchanges of goods. Residents can post items for sale or trade. Other residents can inquire and engage with sellers. Both buyers and sellers receive the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are engaging only with verified community residents.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found module creates a place for residents to engage specifically about lost and found items. This specialized message board can help residents reunite with lost pets, find lost car keys, wallets, key fobs, etc. Nothing helps grow trust and engagement of a community like neighbors helping neighbors. Lost and Found is the perfect way to start.

Groups

The Groups module allows the creation of sub-groups within your app. Groups can be established for clubs, interests, committees, etc. Groups can be established by app owners or by residents themselves. Groups can be open to join, or closed membership. Once established, functions within the app like message board, events, etc. can be segmented by group membership.
